Christian recording music artist and songwriter, Andrea Thomas has had an exciting journey in the music industry. Growing up in a family of gospel singers in Fort Worth, TX Andrea developed her love for music and evangelism as a little girl while singing on the streets to the homeless with her parents and on her grandfathers TV show, “Texas Country Gospel.”
After graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a Bachelors Degree in Music Business, Andrea recorded her second independent album, “Awaken My Soul” and attended Bethel’s School of Worship in Redding, CA to further her ministry leading and songwriting skills.
Soon after, Andrea had the rare and unique opportunity to sing with Carrie Underwood and join her band for her upcoming tour and live performances for the next few years.
Andrea was then invited to audition for NBC’s The Voice in Hollywood and became a contestant on Team Blake.
As a Christ follower and singer/songwriter there’s no separation between secular and sacred, whatever you are filled up with - you release. Music and ministry should go hand in hand wherever God places your feet. My mission is the same — that all may know Yahshua the Messiah and the joy of His Holy Spirit. -Andrea
Andrea is currently writing music for her upcoming Christian album, leading worship at her church, advocating for A Sound of Hope and living between Nashville, TN and Orlando, FL with her husband Joshua and three loving boxers.
Andrea enjoys Mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, spontaneous stops at garage sales, anything pink and hosting dinners and prayer parties in her home.
